Setting up CI/CD is one of the most repetitive tasks in software development. Developers often copy workflows from previous projects, spend hours modifying YAML files, or skip automation altogether. Existing generators create generic templates that rarely match a project's framework, deployment target, or infrastructure. Security issues such as unpinned actions, excessive permissions, and missing compliance checks frequently go unnoticed until deployment.
DevForge solves this with a single command:
npx devforge init
DevForge automatically detects the project's framework, package manager, deployment target, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) configuration to generate production-ready GitHub Actions workflows, Dockerfiles, secrets guidance, and deployment configurations. Its deterministic core works offline and produces reliable, reviewable output without depending on AI.
On top of this foundation, DevForge includes an optional agentic layer powered by LangGraph. AI agents provide workflow recommendations, security analysis, compliance validation, Trivy vulnerability scanning, and automated fixes while ensuring the deterministic generator remains the primary source of truth.
The tool also bridges the gap between CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code. It detects existing Terraform, AWS CDK, boto3, Pulumi, or Ansible projects and can execute or generate verified infrastructure configurations. Every generated workflow is IaC-aware, enabling seamless deployment automation.
Security is built into every stage. DevForge validates workflows against industry best practices, maps findings to standards such as NIST SP 800-53 and ISO 27001, integrates Trivy scanning, and generates compliance reports with optional auto-remediation.
Designed for developers, teams, and organizations adopting DevSecOps, DevForge eliminates hours of manual configuration while promoting secure and standardized delivery pipelines. With support for major JavaScript and Python frameworks, multiple AWS deployment targets, popular IaC tools, and several LLM providers, DevForge transforms CI/CD setup from a repetitive task into a one-command experience.
